What a wonderful thing ~ to bring memories out of a closet and make them useful again...

A treasure that is beyond measure or words!  A ruined stitched holiday tablecloth from my mother has been turned into heirloom aprons for the granddaughters, sister and me (the daughter).  Nostalgic Seamstress goes above and beyond to create exactly what ties those heartstrings of a memory with perfection and grace.  Many thanks to these talented ladies!!

Ladies, I read your article, A Sentimental Journey in Mary Janes Farm.  It brought back memories of my grandmther and mother making clthes for me and my two sisters with feed sacks.  What a great business to have and share with your sisters.  My sisters were older and both are gone now, but thanks for the memories.

I also loved that you and your sisters keep your parents house open for ya'll to go there and get charged up.

My apron was a gift from my mother-in-law/friend. When I wear the apron I will always remember listening to the story's of what holds the threads of all the aprons together. Thank you.

The whole experience of picking out old shirts and hunting jackets of my husband's to make aprons for our children was really fun.  The ladies at Nostalgic Seamstress were incredibly patient and understanding and went to great lengths to meet my desires.

What a precious Christmas gift!  For every stitch of the apron I have a memory of my dear granny.  Many thanks to the special person whose love and creativeness made this gift possible

This was kind of scary for me (sending off my mother-in-law's special dresses) but it was worth it in the end.

God bless the hands that made the beautiful apron from dresses that my sister Lottie wore.  This blessing also goes to the ones who had this idea.
